This month has been very busy. As the kids are getting out of school for the summer in the States, here we just finished the first trimester and my son had his equivalent to Spring Break. We both went to the States and caught up on restaurants and junk food that is not readily found near us. Sonic, Krispy Creme and a juicy steak were on the top of my list! I spent time with one of my dearest and closest friends, which was wonderful and caught up on my Amazon shopping while I was there. After the break, we came home and enjoyed a week of company from a couple of friends who live in Texas. We had fun going to the beach, the hotsprings/river and hanging out trying different restaurants. We found a coconut at the beach and brought it back home. After a youtube video on how to quickly open a coconut, my husband opened it up. He is getting more handy with a machete every day! We had our friend, Terri, try the fresh coconut water. She was a great sport! After a short hike to the hotsprings, Rick and I took a dip in one of the hot pools, while Terry and Terri enjoyed the cooler river. We have officially made Terry a Coffee Picker Trainee. He received his shirt and we figure that in 6 or so short years, he may move up. :) Having company was great and my dogs were totally spoiled by all of the attention they were getting, but now it is quiet here and time to get back to work. :( Bug for the month
Terry found this caterpillar for me to feature this month. The pictures are a little blurry, but the thing was constantly moving! I bet it would be good for fly fishing...haha. The caterpillar is lucky that we don't fish and was just relocated to a different area. Comments are closed.
