Things are Growing
Not only are the coffee trees working hard at making cherries, but the fruit trees are getting ready too! We have oranges, limes and cherimoya getting ready to be picked again soon. With the afternoon rain showers, everything is so green. I am not a fan of rain (having had my fill living in Oregon,) but I am a fan of all the new growth that the rain brings.
Update on the Coffee Tour Stations
The huts/stations are almost done. We have a few odds and ends to finish up and the roasting station to still do, but it feels good to be so close to being done with these.
We have been working on our downspouts. Our gutters have outlets for downspouts, but did not actually have downspouts. So the heavy rain keeps shooting out of these holes and creating large amounts of erosion and huge mud pits all around the house. The dogs do not enjoy the rain, but they really, really do love the muddy holes when the rain stops. We have decided to actually install the downspouts and re-route the water. The fun never stops!!!!
Rick taking time to Swing
Hector and Rick put up a swing. Of course my husband was the first to play on it! :)
